Josh
entered the Junior Corps in the summer of 2002, and his second
march was in the Fourth of July performance that year. Josh
was given the Richard Carter Award in 2003, awarded by the Senior
Corps instructors to the Junior Corps drummer who shows the most
promise. In the summer of 2004, Josh entered the Senior
Corps and became Bass Drum Section Leader in 2006. Entering
into his junior year at
Jamestown
High School
, Josh became Sergeant Major and a Junior Corps instructor and
drum major. In 2009, Josh was awarded the Tommy Williams Award, an
award voted on by all Corps members for qualities of enthusiasm,
dependability, courtesy and loyalty.

In
2009, Josh will graduate from Jamestown High School where he
participated in JV Soccer, Cross Country, National Honor Society,
German Honor Society, and Math Honor Society. He plans to
attend college to major in Kinesiology and become a physical
therapist in future years.
