David
entered the Junior Corps in the summer of 2003 and the Senior
Corps two years later, as a rising 8th grader. He became
Fife Section Leader in 2008 and Sergeant Major in July 2009.
His instructor was William Parks.
In
addition to instructing, David especially enjoys drum majoring the
Junior Corps as well as the Senior Corps. In 2010, he
received the Tommy Williams Award and the Outstanding Achievement
Award.

He
will graduate from Lafayette High School in June 2010. He is
a member of the National Honor Society and the Math Honor Society.
David
has applied to several public universities in Virginia, where he
will major in mechanical engineering or economics.
