Alex entered the Corps in the fall of 2003 as a 6th grader at Queens Lake Middle School.  He is a drum sergeant in the Senior Corps and a regular instructor of the Junior Corps.

Alex was chosen to receive the Richard Carter Award given by the Senior Corps instructors to the Junior Corps drummer who shows the most promise.

Alex will graduate from Williamsburg Christian Academy (WCA) in June, 2010 and plans to attend community college in the fall.  While a student at WCA, Alex served as President of the Student Council.  He was also an active member in the Key Club and played varsity soccer and basketball.

 

His memorable trips and performances include:
     International Tattoo, Basel, Switzerland
     International Tattoo, Norfolk
     Inauguration of Governors Tim Kaine and 
          Bob McDonnell
     Jamestown's 400th Anniversary Celebration 
          with President George Bush and Queen
          Elizabeth II
     Fife and Drum Corps 50th Anniversary 
          Weekend
